This pad does look like a very nice piece of kit. I rushed into buying a M$ Xbone Elite controller. I'm now, after seeing this, beginning to regret that choice. Hadn't actually seen them up to now.

This is mostly due to the weight of the device. Starting to get RSI in left wrist on occasion, the Razer pad is lighter. Feel like Keith Lemon with a bandage on my left wrist. The build quality is unparalleled. One of the main draws over the MS Elite is superior button mapping options. And placement of those extra controls. I may in the future pick on of these up as well. Can't really currently justify the extra expense after getting the M$ Elite pad. (yet) I have a Razer brand keyboard and mouse on my desktop PC. So far have remained been very impressed with them, even as a Linux user all relevant extra functions work with out endless tinkering.

They are still going strong after a few years. (Have the 2014 models) I'll never go back to a membrane keyboard again. It interests me that in the early days of computing a micro switched, wired keyboard was the norm, and how it's almost gone full circle back to that set up again.
